I want to animate individual cells, rows, or columns in my table
Click outside the table to clear these selections. Press and hold the Ctrl key while you select the parts of the table that you want to animate. On the Animations tab, in the Advanced Animations group, click Add Animation to open the menu of animation options: To make the shapes enter with an effect, point to Entrance, and then click an effect.

3D animation effects in PowerPoint - Microsoft Support

Animate or make words appear one line at a time
Make text appear one line at a time. On the slide, select the box that contains your text. Select the Animations tab, and then pick an animation, such as Appear, Fade In, or Fly In. For some animations, such as Fly In, select Effects Options, as you’ll need to pick a direction for the bullets to fly in from, such as bottom, top, left, or right.

Animation effects and transition effects, when used carefully, can help communicate your message well. An animation is a special effect that applies to a single element on a slide such as text, a shape, an image, and so on. A transition is the special effect that occurs when you exit one slide and move on to the next during a presentation.

Click the text. Then go to the ANIMATIONS tab, open the Animation gallery, and select one. You can keep trying animations until you find the one you like. Notice that every time you select one, you see a preview. That's the default workflow for creating animations. You make a change, then see a preview. Make another change, see a preview.
