The Add-ins button in Excel is grayed out. Some organizations choose to disable add-ins to have greater control over what users install on their systems. This is done by an Microsoft 365 administrator. Often when an admin has disabled add-ins, an alternative "centralized deployment" system for add-ins can or will be set up.

In Outlook, click File > Manage Add-ins. Tip: This opens Outlook on the web. Under Manage add-ins , in the Turned on column, uncheck the box for the add-in you want to turn off.

In the Add-ins box, find one of the add-ins you want to turn off and note the add-in type listed in the Type column. Select that add-in type in the Manage list, and select Go . Uncheck the boxes for the add-ins you want to turn off, and select OK .

Make sure you typed your password correctly. If you're sure you entered your password correctly, you can try to sign in again and create a new app password. Using a compression utility, such as WinZip, creates a compressed archive file that has a different file name extension. Outlook doesn’t recognize these file name extensions as potential threats. Therefore, it doesn’t block the new attachment. Many third-party compression utilities are available.
