If you are using a mouse, select Start > Settings > Accessibility > Magnifier.Select View, and then open the Keep the mouse pointer or Keep the text cursor drop-down menu, and select how Magnifier behaves when the mouse pointer or text cursor move around the screen. This is something you should experiment with to see which combination works best for you.

In the navigation pane, select Recycle bin. Select the files or folders you want to restore by pointing to each item and clicking the circle check box that appears, and then click Restore. Tip: If you're using OneDrive with your personal account, you can select Restore all items to restore everything in your recycle bin.

Location history. Some Windows apps and services that use location info also use your location history. When the location setting is on, locations looked up by apps or services will be stored on the device for a limited time (24 hours), then deleted.

Check that the page shows the correct Microsoft account, and then click Next. Read the list and click the checkboxes to acknowledge you’ve read each item. Choose to have the re-open window set to 30 or 60 days. In the Select a reason drop-down list, choose an explanation for why you're closing the account. Click Mark account for closure.

When someone shares a Word document with you, the email you receive includes a link that opens the document in your web browser: in Word for the web. Select Edit Document > Edit in Browser. If anyone else is working on the document, you'll see their presence and the changes they're making. We call this coauthoring, or real-time collaboration.

See different calendars. To see different calendars side-by-side, select and open one under My Calendars. With different calendars open, select the arrow on each calendar to overlay them and see when everyone's available. Select Today to go back to the current day.

Create Windows 11 installation media. On the Windows 11 software download page , select Create tool now and follow the instructions to install Windows 11. Warning: Microsoft recommends against installing Windows 11 on a device that does not meet the Windows 11 minimum system requirements.

Notes: Some users won’t see the notification for the first hour after a Windows Update due to their notification settings. (To check this, select Start gt; Settings > System > Notifications > Turn on do not disturb automatically, and see if For the first hour after a Windows feature update is checked.) To change Dynamic Lighting settings before seeing the notification, follow the steps above.
