Tips: If you don't see the OneDrive icon, OneDrive might not be running. On a PC, go to Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then click OneDrive in the search results. In the Windows emoji picker, you can either scroll through the list, use the category icons at the top or bottom of the emoji picker, or type a keyword to search for the emoji you want.

Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.

If you can’t locate a lost file from your backup, then you can use Windows File Recovery, which is a command line app available from the Microsoft Store.Use this app to try to recover lost files that have been deleted from your local storage device (including internal drives, external drives, and USB devices) and can’t be restored from the Recycle Bin.
