Important: Before trying any of the solutions below, make sure you back up your personal files. You can back up your Windows PC, or insert a USB drive and use File Explorer to drag and copy important files to the USB drive.If you’re signing into Windows with a Microsoft account, your system settings will be automatically restored after updating, once you’re connected to the internet.

Notes: If you know your password, but just want to change it, go to account.microsoft.com Security tab, and select Change my password. If you know your username and password but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.

The Calculator app for Windows is a touch-friendly version of the desktop calculator in previous versions of Windows. You can open multiple calculators at the same time in resizable windows on the desktop and switch between Standard, Scientific, Graphing, Programmer, Date calculation, and Converter modes.. To get started, select the Start button, and then select Calculator in the list of apps.

Notes: To find an item in the Choose commands from list, it may be helpful to first confirm its location and name within the app. Commands that are no longer visible in the app could still be listed here under All commands.To help identify this type of command, a more descriptive tooltip name may appear in parentheses next to the legacy command name in this form:

Note: If you don't see the Favorites icon in your browser bar, select Settings and more > Settings > Customize appearance, and under Customize toolbar > Select which buttons to show on the toolbar, turn on the Favorites button toggle.

To open the On-Screen Keyboard. Go to Start , then select Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard, and turn on the On-Screen Keyboard toggle. A keyboard that can be used to move around the screen and enter text will appear on the screen. The keyboard will remain on the screen until you close it.

1. Sign in with your Microsoft account. You will be prompted to Sign in with Microsoft account. If you have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to confirm your account, then click Continue.. If you don't have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to sign into your account or create a new one, then click Continue.
