A Desktop Alert is a notification that appears on your desktop when you receive a new email message, a meeting request, or a task request. By default, Desktop Alerts are turned on.

The taskbar can display the temperature in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between these two units, select the weather icon on the taskbar, select the Edit location and unit icon on the weather card, select Celsius or Fahrenheit on the weather, and select Save. Set a duration for your status. When you want to change your status for a specific period of time—for example, to set Do not disturb for an hour of concentrated work—you can set a duration so that Teams will automatically reset your status at the end of the allotted time..
