With Power Query (known as Get & Transform in Excel), you can import or connect to external data, and then shape that data, for example remove a column, change a data type, or merge tables, in ways that meet your needs. Then, you can load your query into Excel to create charts and reports.

C1 is the upper left cells of the range (also called the starting cell).. MATCH("Oranges",C2:C7,0) looks for Oranges in the C2:C7 range. You should not include the starting cell in the range. 1 is the number of columns to the right of the starting cell where the return value should be from. Take a picture of some printed data Maybe you’d like to get data from your previous tax returns into Excel and you only have printed copies.Just take a picture of each one, transfer the pictures to your computer (OneDrive is great for this). Then, click Data > From Picture > Picture From File and follow the on-screen instructions to convert picture to data.

Most of the time, Excel will recognize this, and you'll see an alert next to the cell where numbers are being stored as text. If you see the alert:

You can insert the current date and time in an Excel cell as static values or as dynamic values. A static value is one that doesn’t change when the worksheet is recalculated or opened. A dynamic value is one that is updated each time formulas are recalculated.
