Sign out of your account and then sign in to your new account. If everything is fixed, move your personal data and files to the new account. To move your personal files from your old account to your new account, try opening File Explorer, expanding This PC > OSDisk (C:), and looking in the Users folder, where you should see folders for both accounts.

Notes: Some users won’t see the notification for the first hour after a Windows Update due to their notification settings. Use desktops to keep different tasks organized or for different parts of your life, like work and home. To create a new desktop, select Task view > New desktop. To switch between desktops, select Task view . To change a background on a desktop, in Task view, right-click (or press and hold) on the desktop and select Choose background.

Here's how to do this in Windows 11: Select Start > Settings > System > Sound. In Input, select a microphone to see its properties. In Input volume, make sure the blue bar adjusts as you speak into the microphone. If it doesn't, go to Test your microphone and Start test.
