When you initially setup your Windows device, you might have opted to use a local account instead of a Microsoft account. The main difference between a local account and a Microsoft account is that a local account is specific to one device, while a Microsoft account can be used across multiple devices and Microsoft services.

Open the Shared view, and select the files or folders you want to remove by pointing to each item and clicking the circle check box that appears.. To remove an item shared by other users, select the item, then select Remove from shared list on the bar at the top of the page.. To remove an item from Shared by me, select the item, select Information in the upper-right corner to open the Details ...

After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.

Look for the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar. If you don't see it, select Show hidden icons .Press and hold (or right-click) the icon and select the hardware you want to remove.
