After you export your contacts, use Excel to open the CSV file and check that there's data. When you close the file, Excel will prompt you a few times with "are you sure you want to save it in CSV format?"

In the new Outlook for Windows, a toggle appears at the top right of the Outlook window. While the toggle is turned on, if you try to launch classic Outlook for Windows or Windows Mail you'll be automatically redirected to new Outlook for Windows.

Contacts have been moved to the People app.If you don't have it pinned to your app list on the left side of Teams, you can find it from the Calls app. In the People app, you can add new contacts, designate contacts as favorites, and add categories to contacts.
