Important: Microsoft accounts, the Windows operating system, and other Microsoft products include passwords to help secure your information.This article provides some options that you can use to reset or recover your password if you forget it. Tip: If you installed the Microsoft 365 apps as part of a suite, such as Office Home and Student or Microsoft 365, search for the suite name.For stand-alone apps search by the app name, such as Project or Visio. In most cases you can't uninstall an individual app if it's included in your Microsoft 365 suite.

Note: If it’s been fewer than 10 days since you upgraded to Windows 10, your previous version of Windows will be listed as a system file you can delete.If you need to free up drive space, you can delete it, but keep in mind that you'll be deleting your Windows.old folder, which contains files that give you the option to go back to your previous version of Windows.

On another Windows PC or other device, connect to Wi-Fi as you normally would, and enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. For more info about connecting to Wi-Fi, see Connect to a Wi-Fi network in Windows.

To change the default app, you can do either of the following: Set a default for a file type or link type In the search bar, enter the file type or link type you want, then select it from the list of results.

To access your sign-in options, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.. Or just select this button: Go to Sign-in options. Change or manage your password or PIN. To change your password or PIN, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Select PIN (Windows Hello), and then select Change PIN.

Turn your PC off completely. To shut down, select Start and then select Power > Shut down.. Sleep. Sleep uses very little power, your PC starts up faster, and you’re instantly back to where you left off.
