Make a slide show that starts automatically when opened. Select File > Save as (or Save a Copy ). Click More options. Browse to the folder where you want to save your presentation. In the File name box, type a name for your presentation. Under Save as type, select PowerPoint Show. The file is saved as a .ppsx file.

If the SCRNSAVE.EXE registry value is "C:\Windows\system32\ssmypics.scr," locate the ImageDirectory registry value in the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Screen Saver.Slideshow Browse to the folder that is indicated in the registry value, and then delete any invalid photo shortcuts in the folder and in the subfolders.

You can use a self-running presentation to run unattended in a booth or kiosk at a trade show or convention, or you can save it as a video and send it to a client. Force different shapes (such as a circle and a square) to morph. Force two instances of the same shape—but with different text in each— to morph. Force two images to morph. Force any two objects of the same type to morph (table/table, SmartArt/SmartArt). One exception is charts: they don't morph, they cross-fade.
