Windows Security provides built-in security options to help protect your device from malicious software attacks. To access the features described below, tap the Windows Start button, type windows security, select it from the results, and then select Device security.

In the search box on the taskbar, type Manage BitLocker and then select it from the list of results. Or, select the Start button, and then under Windows System, select Control Panel.In Control Panel, select System and Security, and then under BitLocker Drive Encryption, select Manage BitLocker. Note: You'll only see this option if BitLocker is available for your device.

Use the Windows Quick Assist app to get help with a computer problem from family or friends or help them out. Quick Assist uses a remote connection, so remember to only use it with people you trust, since they can see your computer screen or control your PC (if you allow it).

1. Sign in with your Microsoft account. You will be prompted to Sign in with Microsoft account. If you have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to confirm your account, then click Continue.. Updates to the default screen and sleep settings now help you use energy more efficiently and extend battery life. You can find efficiency settings in Windows 11 at Settings > System > Power & battery.. Select Add a printer or scanner.. Wait for it to find nearby scanners, then choose the one you want to use and select Add device.
