Updates to the default screen and sleep settings now help you use energy more efficiently and extend battery life. You can find efficiency settings in Windows 11 at Settings > System > Power & battery.. Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.

To add another account to OneDrive on your computer. If you already have a personal OneDrive account set up, you can only add work or school accounts.

Important: You don't need to remove old security information unless there is an account security risk (e.g. someone else has access to your old mailbox).

Windows Security provides built-in security options to help protect your device from malicious software attacks. To access the features described below, tap the Windows Start button, type windows security, select it from the results, and then select Device security.

Select Add a printer or scanner.. Wait for it to find nearby scanners, then choose the one you want to use and select Add device.

Use the Windows Quick Assist app to get help with a computer problem from family or friends or help them out. Quick Assist uses a remote connection, so remember to only use it with people you trust, since they can see your computer screen or control your PC (if you allow it).

Note: You might not be able to change the power mode when a custom power plan is selected.If you can’t set the power mode in Power & battery settings, open Control Panel, select System and Security > Power Options, then choose a Balanced power plan.

In the Windows emoji picker, you can either scroll through the list, use the category icons at the top or bottom of the emoji picker, or type a keyword to search for the emoji you want.

Turn on Find my device. When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. If you turned it off during setup and now want to turn it on, make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet, has enough battery power so it can send its location, and that you're signed in to the device using your Microsoft account.
