Updates to the default screen and sleep settings now help you use energy more efficiently and extend battery life. Turn on Find my device. When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. In most cases, all you have to do to set up a scanner is to connect it to your device. Plug the USB cable from your scanner into an available USB port on your device, and turn the scanner on.
