Camera doesn't work in Windows - Microsoft Support
If that doesn't work, or your camera is built in on your device, try this: Select Start , type device manager, then select it from the search results. Find your camera under Cameras, Imaging devices , or Sound, video and game controllers. If you can't find your camera, select the Action menu, then select Scan for hardware changes.

Windows 7 support ended on January 14, 2020. Microsoft made a commitment to provide 10 years of product support for Windows 7 when it was released on October 22, 2009.
