Note: If you have a message open in its own window instead of the Reading pane, the Backspace key will not archive the message. To find Sync settings, select Start , then select Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings . Choose from settings such as language preferences, passwords, and color themes. If you turn on Other Windows settings, Windows also syncs some device settings (for things like printers and mouse options), File Explorer settings, and notification preferences.

Under Message organization, choose either of the options depending on whether you want to show email grouped by conversation or as individual message..
