On the Choose an account screen, click the Microsoft account button.; On the Add your Microsoft account screen, enter the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account.; On the Make it yours screen, you'll have the option to make this Microsoft account your primary account. (This makes sign-in, settings, and syncing happen automatically for all other Microsoft services.)

Note for iPhone: If you are having trouble with your iPhone import, make sure your device is unlocked and you’ve accepted the permissions. Note for Android and other devices: If you’re using an Android phone or other device and import isn’t working, you might need to change your phone’s USB settings from Charging over USB to Transfer Files or Transfer Photos.

Tips: While signing in, select Yes at the "Stay signed in?" prompt if you want to go straight to your mailbox next time (not recommended for shared computers). Alternatively, check the "Don't show this again" box and select No to be prompted for your password each time.. Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.
