When you get a new device and start up Windows 10 for the first time, the antivirus protection that comes installed with the device is your default security app.

Important: You don't need to remove old security information unless there is an account security risk (e.g. someone else has access to your old mailbox).

The chat provider is the underlying service that Copilot in Windows uses to communicate with you. The chat provider platform is important because it's possible for you to copy and paste sensitive organizational information into the chat.

Note: If you forgot your account info and had to reset your security info, you must wait 60 days before closing your account.

Website notifications appear in the lower right corner of your screen and are also displayed in the Notification Center.When notifications are turned on for a website, they will still appear even if Microsoft Edge is closed.
