Is it available on my device? BitLocker encryption is available on supported devices running Windows 10 or 11 Pro, Enterprise, or Education. On supported devices running Windows 10 or newer BitLocker will automatically be turned on the first time you sign into a personal Microsoft account (such as @outlook.com or @hotmail.com) or your work or school account.

Select Review activity to check for any unusual sign-in attempts on the Recent activity page.If you see account activity that you're sure wasn't yours, let us know and we can help secure your account—if it's in the Unusual activity section, you can expand the activity and select This wasn't me.If it's in the Recent activity section, you can expand the activity and select Secure your account.

A message that is encrypted by Microsoft 365 Message Encryption is delivered to a recipient’s inbox just like any other email message. If the recipient has Outlook 2016 and a Microsoft 365 email account, they'll see an alert about the item's restricted permissions in the Reading pane.
