An upgrade differs from an update in that it moves your PC from a previous version of Windows—such as Windows 10—to Windows 11. This FAQ is intended to answer questions about upgrading to Windows 11.

To increase security and performance, Windows 11 in S mode only runs apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, or if you have Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education and want to upgrade to Windows 11, you'll need to permanently switch out of S mode.

To add another account to OneDrive on your computer. If you already have a personal OneDrive account set up, you can only add work or school accounts.

Immersive Reader advanced color support. In Immersive Reader, we've added many additional ways you can choose a page color.Selecting a page color can make text easy to scan with less eye strain. On the Immersive Reader tab click Page Color to see a 4x5 color picker..
