Most software that you buy directly from Microsoft, like Office, Windows, and Xbox games, comes as a digital download that you can download, install, or reinstall.

Important: You don't need to remove old security information unless there is an account security risk (e.g. someone else has access to your old mailbox).

Important: You won't lose files or data by resetting OneDrive on your computer.Resetting OneDrive only disconnects all your sync connections (including personal and work or school).

Turn on Find my device. When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. If you turned it off during setup and now want to turn it on, make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet, has enough battery power so it can send its location, and that you're signed in to the device using your Microsoft account.

Which devices support cross-device copy and paste? Cross-device copy and paste is supported on Surface Duo and Android devices that are running One UI version 2.1 or above or select HONOR devices (1.22036.14.0 or later) or OPPO devices (1.23093.0 or later) or select ASUS devices.

Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.

To add another account to OneDrive on your computer. If you already have a personal OneDrive account set up, you can only add work or school accounts.
