Changing or removing a program may result in a number of messages about files that cannot be located, but are needed to complete the change or uninstallation. This article describes how to remove these invalid entries from the Add/Remove Programs tool.

Repair or reset your apps. See Repair or Remove programs in Windows. In Microsoft Store, select Library. Find the app you want to reinstall, and then select Install. Select the Close (X) button in the upper-right corner of the app window to close it. Then, reopen the app.
