There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled. You can try to repair a program first, if it's just not running correctly.

Get Help has troubleshooters you can run for many common scenarios. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Run to start that troubleshooter.

Startup Repair is a Windows recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might prevent Windows from starting. It scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so your computer can start correctly.

Go to microsoft365.com and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. Select Install and more, and then select Install Microsoft 365 apps. Select Install Office, and then open the OfficeSetup.exe file that downloads to your computer.

Windows includes codecs that allow Media Player to play the following formats out of the box: Codec packs add additional codec support to Windows. Apps like Media Player will then be able to play media files encoded in these formats. The following codecs packs are available: Adds support for the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video formats.

NET 8.0 has been refreshed with the latest update as of January 14, 2025. This update contains both security and non-security fixes. See the release notes for details on updated packages. .NET 8.0 servicing updates are upgrades. The latest servicing update for 8.0 will remove the previous 8.0 update upon successful installation.

Use Snipping Tool to make changes or notes, then save, and share. Capture any of the following types of snips: Draw a freeform shape around an object. Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle. Select a window, such as a dialog box, that you want to capture. Capture the entire screen.

Copilot is available in the Home tab of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook on the web if you are a Copilot subscriber. If you also have a Microsoft 365 subscription that includes the Microsoft 365 desktop apps then you should find Copilot available in those apps as well.
