Windows 11 Windows 10. To pin apps to the taskbar. Select Start , select the arrow next to All apps, right-click the app, then select More > Pin to taskbar. If the app is already open on the desktop, press and hold (or right click) the app's taskbar icon, and then select Pin to taskbar.

Select Start from the taskbar. In the Recommended section, select More and then scroll to the app you want to pin. Or you can search for the app by typing the app name in the search box. Press and hold (or right-click) the app, then select Pin to Start. To unpin an app, select Unpin from Start.

Open Control Panel in Windows. Windows 10. In the search box next to Start on the taskbar, type control panel. Select Control Panel from the list of results. Note: Many Control Panel features are simpler and faster in Settings . Open Settings. Open Control Panel in Windows.

Windows 11 Windows 10. Uninstall from the Start menu. Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall. Uninstall in Settings. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features . Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.

Windows 11 Windows 10. Your desktop icons may be hidden. To view them, right-click the desktop, select View, and then select Show desktop icons. To add icons to your desktop such as This PC, Recycle Bin and more: Select Start , open Settings , then under Personalization , select Themes . Under Themes, scroll down and select Desktop icon settings.

From the Overview page, select Office apps and on that page, find the Microsoft 365 product you want to install and select Install. To install Microsoft 365 in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, use the dropdown to find more options. Choose the language and bit version you want, and then select Install.

Windows 11. You can choose which apps will start when you log in to your Windows device. The apps might show in your taskbar or elsewhere—or the apps might start behind the scenes. You can see how much impact each of the apps would have on your startup experience. No Impact: Startup app is disabled.

How to open PC Health Check. In Windows, use Search on the taskbar to search for “PC Health Check,” then select it from the list of results. If a PC Health Check update is available, you can quickly install it for the latest version.

With the file location open, press the Windows logo key + R, type shell:startup, then select OK. This opens the Startup folder.
