With version history, you can see and restore older versions of your files stored in OneDrive or SharePoint. Version history works with all file types, including Microsoft 365 files, PDFs, CAD files, photos, videos, and more.

Restore a previous version of an Excel file - Microsoft Support
Right-click on your file name. Select Version history. Tip: If you are using OneDrive and you don't see the option "Version history", select OneDrive > Version history. A panel will appear showing the different versions of the file, along with the dates and times they were saved.

View the version history of an item or file in a list or library
The Version history window for the most recent version of the file includes actions to manage, notify, check out, or create a workflow. The view of the version history for a previous version of a file shows the option to restore or delete that version.
