Rebase definitions. Microsoft currently rebases definitions only one time per month. During the rebase process, the delta definitions are combined with the previous base definition file to form a new base file. The rebase process occurs on both the antivirus definition files and on the antispyware definition files.

Windows 10. There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled. You can try to repair a program first, if it's just not running correctly. Windows 11 Windows 10.

Select the Data Files tab. All Outlook Data Files (.pst) and Offline Data Files (.ost) are listed along with the name of the account the files are associated with. If you cannot open your Outlook data file or suspect that the file is damaged, use the Inbox Repair tool (scanpst.exe) to repair errors in the file.

Launch the Xbox app for PC. Click your Profile picture. Click on Support. Click on Gaming Services Repair Tool. Click on Start Troubleshooting.

If a Microsoft 365 application such as Word or Excel isn’t working correctly, sometimes restarting it will fix the problem. If that doesn’t work, you can try repairing it. When you’re done, you might need to restart your computer. The steps to access the repair tool vary depending on your operating system.

Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, then select OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window. If OneDrive is still not syncing, press the Windows key and R again.

Windows 10. Use System restore to make restore points when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update, and when you create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made. To go back to a restore point:

Right-click Start , then select Run. Type regedit in the Open: box, and then select OK. Type regedit in the search bar on the taskbar, then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the list of results.

From the Overview page, select Office apps and on that page, find the Microsoft 365 product you want to install and select Install. To install Microsoft 365 in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, use the dropdown to find more options. Choose the language and bit version you want, and then select Install.
