Install and set up. If you're using Windows 10 or 11, your computer already has the OneDrive app installed - skip to step 2. If you don't have Windows 10, 11, or Office 2016, install the Windows version of the new OneDrive sync app. Start OneDrive Setup. If you have no accounts signed in to OneDrive.

To turn on Windows backup and choose your backup settings, select Start > Settings > Accounts > Windows backup. Open Windows backup settings. The following items can be backed up: OneDrive folder syncing. Turn on OneDrive folder syncing to start backing up your files and folders right from Settings.

Windows Mac. Open OneDrive settings (select the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area, and then select the OneDrive Help and Settings icon then Settings .) Go to the Sync and back up tab. To reset the OneDrive desktop sync app in Windows. Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, then select OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window. If OneDrive is still not syncing, press the Windows key and R again.

Troubleshoot. Reinstall OneDrive. OneDrive (home or personal) Reinstalling Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and resets all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reinstallation. You won't lose any data by uninstalling OneDrive.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.Type Command Prompt in the Search box, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

Set up OneDrive on your computer. When you have OneDrive set up on your computer, it can mean that the files on your computer are backed up to OneDrive, letting you access them from anywhere. Select Start and search for OneDrive. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.

Windows macOS. Try it! Sync the files in your Microsoft 365 or Microsoft SharePoint site libraries so they’re always available on your computer, even when you’re offline. Turn on Files On-Demand in OneDrive. In the Windows notification area, select the blue OneDrive cloud icon.

Step 2. Install Office. Select the Microsoft 365 folder from the virtual drive and then double-click either the Setup32.exe to install the 32-bit version of Microsoft 365, or Setup64.exe to install the 64-bit version to begin the offline installation.

Repair an Outlook data file (.pst) file. Open SCANPST.EXE. Select Browse to select the Outlook Data File (.pst) you want to scan. If you need help locating your Outlook Data File, see Locating the Outlook Data Files. Note: By default, a new log file is created during the scan.
