If you can’t install, uninstall, or update a desktop program in Windows 10, the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter can automatically fix common issues such as corrupted registry keys or incomplete uninstall data.

Uninstall from the Start menu. Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall. Uninstall in Settings. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps . Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.

Open the Program_Name folder, and then click the program's "uninstall" file to remove the program (if the file exists). For example, the file might be named Uninst.exe, Uninstall, or Uninstall Program_Name. Follow the instructions to remove the program.

Can't launch a game or an app? Some players may be having trouble launching games and apps. While we are working on a fix, try rebooting your console. If you’re experiencing issues with the Xbox app itself, and not the games, try reinstalling the app from the Microsoft Store.

Once you’re ready, go to My Library to find your PC games and launch something to start playing. If you already own the game and you want to install it on your new PC, or reinstall it, select My Library.
