Restore an item from the SharePoint in Microsoft 365 site collection Recycle bin. On modern team sites and classic sites (subsites), in the left pane, select Recycle bin. On modern communication sites, select Site contents, and then select Recycle bin in the top navigation bar.

To fix this issue in Windows Vista, follow these steps: Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, and then click Change desktop icons. Click to select the Recycle Bin check box, and then click OK.

The SharePoint Application Management settings page lets you turn the site recycle bin on or off, set the number of days that deleted items are retained in the recycle bin, and set how much storage space the second stage (site collection) recycle bin uses.
