To change the name that displays when you send email, update the Your name field. Unless you specifically need to change any of the other fields, you can leave the default values in place. When you're done, select Next. You can then select Close to return to classic Outlook .

Configure an Outlook profile to change account settings and data file information.

Open Outlook and select File. Use the dropdown under Account Information to select the account you want to change. Select Account Settings. Select the type of information you want to change. Account Settings allows you to add or remove accounts, change server settings, and more.

If you see the Send button, but don’t see the From button, the typical cause is that your Outlook profile contains only one email account. To view the From button, you'll need to add another email account.

To create a custom column, select New Column, enter a Name for the column, and then select the Type and Format of information that you want the column to display.

Regardless, you can easily make the change to ensure that Outlook will display your full name. Take these steps: Select the account that you want to update. Under Personal Information, you can update your Full Name, which will now be displayed to recipients when they view your emails.
