By setting up MFA, you add an extra layer of security to your Microsoft 365 account sign-in. For example, you first enter your password and, when prompted, you also type a dynamically generated verification code provided by an authenticator app or sent to your phone.

When you start your computer, or when your computer has been idle for many minutes, your Internet browser opens to display website advertisements. When you use your browser to view websites, other instances of your browser open to display website advertisements.

In the search box on the taskbar, enter control panel and select Control Panel from the results. Select Programs > Programs and Features. Microsoft Edge WebView2 is required to use Quick Assist. If you use Windows 11 or the Microsoft Edge browser, WebView2 should already be installed. If WebView2 isn't already installed, it will be installed automatically the first time you open Quick Assist.

Microsoft Authenticator helps you sign in to your accounts if you've forgotten your password, use two-step verification or multi-factor authentication, or have gone passwordless on your account. Before you can use Authenticator as a way to sign in, you need to download the app and have already added Authenticator to your accounts.

See Repair or Remove programs in Windows. In Microsoft Store, select Library. Find the app you want to reinstall, and then select Install. Select the Close (X) button in the upper-right corner of the app window to close it. Then, reopen the app.

Use this app to try to recover lost files that have been deleted from your local storage device (including internal drives, external drives, and USB devices) and can’t be restored from the Recycle Bin. Recovery on cloud storage and network file shares is not supported.

Project Web Access If your organization is using Microsoft Project Web App, you can ask the project manager to publish the project as a PDF or XPS, and then give you permission to view the project. Then, you can view the project in Project Web App.
