Project management goal: Resolve resource allocation problems
Change a task's lead or lag time when the resource has more tasks assigned than can be completed during a given time period. The simplest way to correct that overallocation is to delay one of those tasks, ideally a task with lower priority than the others.

Distribute project work evenly (level resource assignments)
When people in your project are working on too many assignments at the same time, you can resolve resource conflicts or overallocations by leveling the assignments automatically by going to Resource > Level All. Leveling works by delaying tasks or splitting them so the resources that are assigned to those tasks are no longer overloaded.

You create a new task in Task Scheduler. When you create the task, you select the Run whether user is logged on or not option, click to clear the Do not store password. The task will only have access to local computer resources check box, and then click OK to apply the settings.
The duration or work value changed when I assigned a resource
When you assign resources to a task, Project calculates how long the task is likely to take to complete using those resources. If you assign multiple resources at the same time, the duration doesn't change from your original estimate.

View resource workloads and availability in Project desktop
To find overallocated or underallocated resources either within a project or across projects, you can access Project Online and view a graph and table of resource availability. From the Project Online Project Center, click Resources in the left side menu.

Remove or replace a resource assignment - Microsoft Support
Removing a resource assignment will remove the resource's obligations to work on a particular tasks or set of tasks, but the resource can still exist in the project. Tip: To remove a resource from a project, on the View tab, choose Resource Sheet .
