Distribute project work evenly (level resource assignments)
When people in your project are working on too many assignments at the same time, you can resolve resource conflicts or overallocations by leveling the assignments automatically by going to Resource > Level All. Leveling works by delaying tasks or splitting them so the resources that are assigned to those tasks are no longer overloaded.

Project management goal: Resolve resource allocation problems
Step 1: Resolve resource overallocations. When a resource is assigned too much work in a given period, the most effective way to reallocate or reschedule the work is to examine all pertinent details and decide which trade-off to make.
