Save or convert to PDF or XPS in Office Desktop apps. Excel for Microsoft 365 Word for Microsoft 365 Access for Microsoft 365 More... You can use the Office programs to save or convert your files to PDFs so that you can share them or print them using commercial printers.

Exporting your document as a PDF is a convenient way create a shareable copy of your document while preserving its formatting. Here's how do it in Word Online. At the top of your screen, select File. In the displayed list of options, select Export.

Save or convert to PDF on your Mac. Word 2016 for Mac Word for Mac 2011. If you want your document to be read but not edited, you can save it as a PDF file. When you do, the PDF will retain your formatting and often be a smaller file than the original document.

Export as PDF. Microsoft Journal. You can export journal contents as a PDF document. Start an export from one of the following entry points: 1. On the home page, tap the 3 dots on the top right corner of a journal to open the menu. You can export all pages from a journal.
