Turn on AutoComplete in Internet Explorer 11 to save time filling out forms, or allowing Internet Explorer 11 to remember user names and passwords.

In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then select Internet options. On the Content tab, under AutoComplete, select Settings, and then select Delete AutoComplete history.

To enable AutoComplete for the text box, select the Enable AutoComplete check box. To disable AutoComplete for the text box, clear the Enable AutoComplete check box.

Internet Explorer 11 has been permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10. If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer 11, you can reload it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge.

To turn on or off search suggestions, open Internet Explorer and begin entering a search term in the address bar. Then select Turn on suggestions (or Turn off suggestions) in the dropdown menu.

Select the Blocked button on the address bar, and then select Turn off ActiveX Filtering. If the Blocked button doesn't appear on the address bar, there's no ActiveX content available on that page.

Once you turn on Compatibility View, Internet Explorer will automatically show that site in Compatibility View each time you visit. You can turn it off by removing the site from your compatibility list.
