INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update is available to update the Supplier, Customer and Payee identifiers in electronic documents in Norway in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.
More Information
On October 3, 2012, the Norwegian authority, DIFI, who is responsible for standards of electronic invoices in Norway, introduced updates to primary identifiers in electronic documents.
The updates involved the following identifiers:
- Supplier
- Customer
- Payee
Both mandatory fields and optional fields are included.
These changes are applicable on the following electronic documents that we support:
- Sales order invoice
- Free text invoice
- Project invoice
- Collection letter
- Credit note

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installationTo validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
