Symptoms
Assume that you create and release an item by using the Application Integration Framework (AIF) service in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. When you try to create a purchase order for the item, the item is not presented in the Item number drop-down list in the Purchase order dialog box.
Cause
This problem occurs because the InventItemSetupSupplyType record is not created when the item is released through the ItemService AIF service.
