This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Indian (in) region.
In the Indian versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, when any invoice is created on which TDS is applied on not posted immediately. The posting is deferred for posting later.
When unposted invoice on which TDS is applied parked for posting later and subsequent invoice generated after unposted invoice, posted with TDS. If total transaction value crossed the defined threshold limit with the posted transaction, than on posting unposted invoice no TDS is computed.
Resolution
The changes in the hotfix resolve this issue.
After you apply this hotfix, when you click on the withholding tax button to check TDS calculated value on invoice/Journals/PO, the system re-calculates TDS tax amount considering accumulated posted transaction value.
