Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in Process Industries in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1):
- You create a planning item that requires a raw material and some co-products.
- You create a route for the planning item.
- You create and start a production order for the raw material that has the planning item as the end item.
- You generate a route card journal by running the report as finished on the production order.
In this scenario, the good quantity and the process time are missing in the process line in the route card journal unexpectedly.
Cause
This problem occurs because the system set the QtyGood value to zero when there is no main item but only co-product in the production order.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
