When you run Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 PowerShell command of "Set-AXMasterDataManagementMDSSetup –MDSServerName RDVM0005FA-TAE -MDSDatabase MDS", it can't find the MDM.tblTransaction table in the Master Data Services (MDS) database. As a result, you need to add the Master Data Management (MDM) support for Microsoft SQL Server 2016.
Resolution
The changes in the hotfix include the MDM support for Microsoft SQL Server 2016 as expected.
