Symptoms
The Archive Document settings in the Purchase & Payables Setup and Sales & Receivables Setup dialog boxes do not work in the North American version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2.
Whether the Archive Quote and Orders check box is selected or not in the Purchase & Payables Setup or Sales & Receivables Setup dialog box, the Archive Document field is filled with an archived order or quote.
Cause
This problem occurs because the system does not consider the Archive Document setting. The system only considers whether the user has the WRITEPERMISSONS to archive header tables.
