Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
- You have an Exchange Server Hybrid configuration.
- As part of the configuration, Journaling is configured, and Journaling decryption is enabled through the transport configuration settings.
- Azure Information Protection (AIP) is used to protect a file that's attached to the email message.
In this scenario, only the email message is decrypted. The attachment itself remains encrypted.

To fix this issue, install the following security update:
