Symptoms
MsDb2Client doesn't support IBM CCSID 5348 and returns the following error:
SQLSTATE HY000, SQLCODE –343 -Invalid code page error.
Cause
Host Integration Server common encoder doesn't process IBM CCSID 5348 as an alias for IBM CCSID 1252.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
- Cumulative Update 4 for Host Integration Server 2016
- Cumulative Update 1 for Host Integration Server 2020
