Introduction
This article describes the issues that have been fixed for Microsoft System Center 2022 Orchestrator. This article also contains the installation instructions for the hotfix.
Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have the update: Update Rollup 3 for System Center Orchestrator 2022.
Issues fixed
After applying this hotfix, System Center 2022 Orchestrator will conform to GB18030-2022 Amendment standard. GB18030-2022 Amendment is the Chinese character set and encoding standard mandated by the Chinese government.

Installation Instructions
- End task for ‘System Center Orchestrator Runbook Server Monitor’ service from Task Manager if running. (You can check in Services tab if ‘omonitor’ is in stopped state or not).
- Download the GB issue hotfix MSP file:
- Runbook Server - KB5072592_Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.RunbookServer_x64.msp
- Management Server - KB5072592_Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.ManagementServer_x64.msp
- Runbook Designer - KB5072592_Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.RunbookDesigner_x64.msp
To manually install the Hotfix packages, run the following command from an elevated command prompt:
msiexec.exe /p <packagename>
For example, to install the System Center 2022 UR3 GB Issue hotfix package for Orchestrator Management Server (KB 5072592), run the following command:
msiexec.exe /l*v "sco-mgmt-server-update-log.txt" /p KB5072592_Microsoft.SystemCenter.Orchestrator.ManagementServer_x64.msp
Uninstalling Hotfix
The Runbook Server, Runbook Designer, and Management Server UR3 hotfix packages can be uninstalled using Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > View installed Updates
