This article describes update 5002632 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 that was released on January 7, 2025.

Improvements and fixes

This update prevents automatic loading and instantiation of Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) in PowerPoint.

In the Control Panel search box, enter Installed Updates.
In the search results, select View installed updates.
In the list of updates, locate and select KB5002632, and then select Uninstall.
