Applies To
SQL Server 2012 Developer SQL Server 2012 Enterprise SQL Server 2012 Standard SQL Server 2014 Developer - duplicate (do not use) SQL Server 2014 Enterprise - duplicate (do not use) SQL Server 2014 Standard - duplicate (do not use)

Symptoms

Assume that you have a role that has cell security defined in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS 2012) or SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services (SSAS 2014) database. When you try to use one member of this role to perform writeback action on one of the cells that is limited by the cell security, SSAS instance may crash.

Note Non-trivial cell security is defined on this cell.
