ISSUE
After updating to version 2609 (16.0.20430.x), users might encounter an issue where they cannot save Word documents as PDFs to SharePoint Online locations.
No error is presented and the file is instead saved to the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.MSO folder with a random file name.
The issue only occurs when using Save/Save As, choosing the PDF file type, and selecting a SharePoint location.
STATUS: WORKAROUND
Users can save to an alternative location, or use the option Export > Create PDF/XPS Document.
