Symptoms
Assume that you try to view a folder that contains items by using te Group By view in Microsoft Office Outlook in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. For example, you use the Group items by Subject view. In this scenario, the items in the folder may not display. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
There are no items to show in this view.
Notes
-
The folder items may display when you reverse the sort order several times. However, the state of Collapse All Groups or Expand All Groups may be incorrect.
-
This issue occurs when you try to perform one of the following operations:
-
View a public folder.
-
View a mailbox of other account in cached mode.
-

-
Cause
This issue occurs because the Exchange server returns an incorrect current table row position of the cursor to Outlook. Outlook checks the unmatched value as not synchronized. Therefore, the items in the folder do not display.
