Reading Progress versus Reading Coach

Reading Progress is a free tool available in Microsoft Teams for Education that assists students in improving their reading fluency. It allows educators to assign reading passages to students, who then record themselves reading the text. This tool is particularly useful for educators to monitor how students are practicing pronunciation, pace, and expression.

In contrast, the standalone Reading Coach app is available on web and Windows platforms and is designed to engage students in independent, personalized reading practice. It complements classroom activities by encouraging students to continue reading and practicing beyond their assigned work.
