A computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 becomes unresponsive when you run a large application

Not sure if this is the right fix? We've added this issue to our memory dump diagnostic which can confirm.

Symptoms

You have a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. When you run a large application, the computer stops responding for some time. The computer may stop responding for several minutes or for several hours.

This problem occurs when the application flushes many pages to a volume. The number of pages that are flushed determines how long the computer is unresponsive.

Note Examples of large applications include e-mail server applications and database server applications.
